The magnificent Panagia beach is located on the west side of the island . In an idyllic scenery with turquoise water, golden sand, Kedros trees and small islands, the visitor will surely be seduced by the calm and relaxing breeze of the beach. The shallow waters and the easy access to the beach are two main characteristics of this beach. Its direction give the ability to visitors to admire the unique sunset over the mountains of Mani.
The beach took its name from the small church of Panagia Katonisiotissa located near. Access to the beach is made from asphalt road and the distance from Elafonisos village is approximately 3.5 km. On the beach there are various restaurants that facilitate the visitor but also a large number of hotels and rooms to rent.
